1999 :: Irresponsible Captain Tylor

An A3, fully hand-painted/watercolour commission I did for a friend when I had started Uni. The plan was to get commissions and freelance to support myself, but I was a failure at charging what I should have really (even for friend's rates) and commissions are hard to obtain QQ

I quite like the colour range in this and all my usual errors are there like folds not being quite right and stuff, and I love how there is no actual static light direction xD Ahh hindsight and learning! <3 Still using shadow for form is ok a little bit... I hope.

Anyway! Irresponsible Captain Tylor! (Sometimes written up as 'Taylor'). Featuring Justy "Ueki" Tylor (IIRC). A 90's harem anime of the Tenchi Muyo era, a show that I have only seen ONE episode of (!). I should see more, it's supposed to be quite funny. One day...
