1995 :: Moldiver

An anime I had not seen at the time! A friend cosplayed as the main character from Moldiver which probably inspired me to draw this. With random superhero chibi. IIRC the main character can become a superhero thanks to (probably) some gadget, but the transformation only lasts 3 minutes, where the costume disappears afterwards to leave the hapless heroine NEKKIDZ.

Ahh anime without nakedness. xD

Moldiver was one of the few anime that got released by Pioneer, in the UK, on VHS, around this time. Sales weren't very good so they set fire to the remainder stock, apparently.
