I loooooooooved Galax High Scool when I was a kid. It was on Timmy Mallet's Wacaday. Oh dear. My age....

Technically anime? It is distributed via AnimeWorks (on DVD), and was animated mainly by Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS) and Nelvana (Canada).

This was made with regular pencils, digital inks, and Copic Markers :) Tidied up with Photoshop CS2. I had lots of fun with this.

Haha! I remember Wacaday, ever so vaguely...I at least remember my mum making a big sponge mallet for us to play with. XD

Something triggered my memory about this show the other day and I watched the entire series again - isn't it weird that these 13 episode run ones always seem so much longer when you're young? Great take on the characters, too... they were all so quirky.

Wow your mom sounds like the best!!! We had a huge mallet made of foam, but our mom made us get rid of it in case it was a fire hazard, hahah! XD

Awesome pic I picked up the DVD's at a con. I watched the whole thing in one run. This show was great I just wish they made more of this show or at least revamp like they did with TMNT

Thank you! :D Oh wow, a remake would be amazing! \*^o^*/ It's a shame nothing ever concluded really, or that another series wasn't made to develop the characterisation. There *was* rumour that a 3D film was going to be made, but absolutely not based on any of the characters we know and love... D:
